Nutrition apps manage daily diet and macros. SwimFueled does something they don't — and can't. We prescribe exactly what to eat and drink in a 20-minute, 60-minute, 90-minute, sometimes 2-hour gap between races — at 1 to 4 day meets. Sports dietitians rarely work in this space. The science behind our protocols is peer-reviewed and well-established. We're the first to apply it to competitive swimming. That's the white space we own.
School lunch at noon. Practice at 3–5 PM. A 3 to 5 hour gap — and whatever was convenient on the drive over. The problem isn't always that nothing was consumed. It's that the wrong thing was. The final high-intensity block of every practice — where races are won and lost — is run on glycogen reserves that are already gone.
4–6 events per day. 3–5 consecutive days. Every gap between events has a different fueling requirement determined by its length. The cumulative physiological cost compounds. Not a single product has ever understood this structure — until now.
Glycogen resynthesis rates are highest in the first 0–2 hours after the last race. Team dinner arrives 90–180 minutes later. Day 2 starts already compromised. Then Day 3. Then Day 4 — often when the athlete's most important event is scheduled. Swimmers adding time on Day 4 is accepted as normal. It is not normal.
